TruColor Red Shine Food Paint Powder
TruColor™ Red Shine Food Paint Powder is a natural food color powder that can be used for painting dry food surfaces including icing, gum paste and fondant that has been given time to set/dry or form a crust. To activate the color simply add water (instructions below) and apply to the surface with a paint brush or air brush gun. COLOR NOTICE: We show examples of it used on dried white cookie icing and chocolate fudge icing. Depending on the consistency of the paint that you mix, how many coats you apply and the color of surface you are painting on the color can vary in appearance and shade.
TIPS: Simply add water at a 2:1 ratio to “hydrate & decorate”, example 1/2 of water to 1/4 teaspoon of powder. Mix a small amount at a time in a paper plate (not in the container it comes in), add less water for stronger color. Multiple coats may be needed depending on the look you are going for. Allow the paint to dry between coats. Best when used on dry surfaces.
